Do you wish your life was different? Would you like to be living with more joy, more purpose and more ease? Instead of struggling and efforting to make your life different, you need to allow it to be different. The key is to practice living your ideal life now, before you see it manifest.

You are the creator of your reality.

Whatever you focus your energy and attention on is what will show up in your life. We live in a mirror world. In other words, whatever you’re placing your energy and attention on will be reflected back to you. You’ll see it in your environment and circumstances.

While this may seem like bad news if you don’t like what you see, it’s also the good news! It means you have the power to change your circumstances.

“Power comes from living in the present moment, where you can take action and create the future.”

Sanaya Roman, “Living With Joy”

Since there is a time gap between what we are focusing on and what we see manifested, everything you see around you in your life right now is the result of past thinking.

So, as you look at your present circumstances, realize that it’s the past you’re really seeing. If you want your future to be different, you need to change your thinking now, in the present moment. The present is where all of your power is.

Many people see their ideal lives as having more meaning and purpose.

You don’t have to know what your purpose is in order to start creating it now. You can focus on the feelings you expect to have by living in harmony with your purpose. When most people think of their purpose they think of doing something meaningful in their work. They want to help others in some way. Your purpose will certainly make a contribution in some way, and it will also be something that you love and brings you joy.

In order to start bringing your ideal life into your reality, you need to act and feel as if you already have it.

So, if you were living your ideal life, what would that be like? How would you feel? How would you act?
What activities do you enjoy? Who would you be with?

Start now to do whatever brings you the feelings you expect to have, such as peace, freedom, harmony, abundance and joy. Act as if you are with people that you enjoy being with. Imagine saying “yes” to the things you want to say “yes” to and saying “no” to the things you want to say “no” to. That anchors feelings of freedom and expansiveness.

Connect with the feeling that everything is out to support you.

Imagine living with ease. Imagine waking up every day looking forward to getting started. Pretend that you already have what you want and the freedom to do what you love.

Check in with yourself throughout the day to see how you’re feeling. If you you find yourself feeling anxious, tense, or anything that’s a lower vibration, take a moment to come back into alignment.

If possible, put yourself in a situation that allows for better feelings to arise—being outside, listening to music that always lifts your spirits, being in silence, focusing on your breathing, repeating a positive affirmation, exercise, meditation or singing, to name a few.

Enjoy this process! Be open to what shows up for you.
